Worth reading ☺☺

 A group of friends visited their old university professor. Conversation soon turned to complaints about 'STRESS' & 'TENSION' in life.
Professor offered them coffee &
returned from kitchen with coffee in different kinds of cups (glass cups, crystal cups, shining ones, some plain looking, some ordinary n some expensive ones.

When all of them had a cup in hand, the professor said:

"If U noticed, all the nice looking & expensive cups are taken up, leavng-behind the ordinary ones. Everyone of U wanted the best CUPS, & that is the source of Ur STRESS & TENSION.
What U really wanted was "coffee", not the "cup",
but U still went for the best cup.
If life is coffee,
then jobs,money ,status & love etc  are the cups.
They are just TOOLS to hold and contain life


Don't let the CUPS drive U.

ಪತ್ರಲೇಖನ ಪೀಠಿಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಇರುವವರ ಜೊತೆ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಂತೆ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ (ಬೇರೆಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ)ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆಗೆ ,ಪರಸ್ಪರ ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಾಧನ ಪತ್ರ. ಪತ್ರಲೇಖನ ಒಂದು ಕಲೆ . ಹಿಂದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಇದು ಬಹಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪುರಾಣ ,ಕಾವ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂದೇಶ ಕಳಿಸುವಾಗ ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಳಿಸುವ ಪರಿಪಾಠವಿತ್ತು. ಕಾಳಿದಾಸನ ಮೇಘ ಸಂದೇಶ ಕಾವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಳಿಸಲು ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಬಹುದು. ಕಾಲಾನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಿಸಲು ದೂತರು ಕುದುರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಎಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳು ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಕಾಗದಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅಂಚೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪತ್ರದ ರೂಪ ತಾಳಿ ಪತ್ರವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಇಂದು ದೂರವಾಣಿ ,ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ,ಗಣಕಯಂತ್ರ ಗಳು ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪತ್ರವ್ಯವಹಾರವು ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇಂದು ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳು ಮಿಂಚಂಚೆಯ (mail) ಮೂಲಕ ರವಾನೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಮೊಬೈಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ whatsapp ,hike ,telegram ಇವೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕ್ಷಣ ಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ರವಾನಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆಯುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ...
